Tiny Town Preschool

Ages 3 - 5

Sundays
9:00am, & 11:00am

What to Bring

  1. Extra pull ups if your child is not potty trained.
  2. A complete change of clothes in case your child would require that.

Please label all personal items with your child's first and last name before arriving at your child's class. This helps us keep track of your child's items.

Your Child's Health
We operate a well-child program. For the protection of all the children in our ministry we cannot accept a child with a runny nose, fresh cold (four days or less), fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea or any other signs of illness. We request that you not place your child in the program while they are at risk of exposing other children. Thank you in advance for helping us keep our Tiny Town program a healthy place for all.

When You Arrive to Tiny Town Pre K
A leader will meet you at the Train Station check-in area to receive your child, your check in slip, and any other necessary items. Please check in and note any information that will help in caring for your child such as allergies and special needs.

If you are needed to return to your child's classroom, you will be paged. The pager will vibrate, so please hold or wear the pager at all times.

Snacks
Snacks are provided for the children. The food items consist of water and Fishy Crackers, Graham Crackers, or pretzels. If your child has a food allergy, please inform the leader when you check in your child

Curriculum
The children will learn a bible story and a memory verse that emphasizes the theme and focus of the lesson. They will be encouraged to participate in a group discussion that will help them learn how to apply biblical truths to their lives. The lesson is concluded with a craft project that reinforces what they have learned, and allows them to creatively express themselves. Our classroom environments emphasize character development and spiritual growth.

Saying Good-bye
After you have completed the check-in process, simply wave a quick good-bye and leave for the worship service. As you know, it is normal for little ones to cry when leaving a parent. This does not last long, and separation becomes easier over time. Our leaders will immediately try to create interest in a toy or activity and give assurance that you will return after the service is completed. If your child cries for an extended period of time of 10 minutes, we will page you.

Pick-up Procedures
When you are ready to pick up your child you may go to any check in station to return your pager and receive your check out slip. Please have your check out slip ready to give to the Tiny Town leaders when you go to the Tiny Town station. We ask that you make sure all your child's personal items have been returned to you before you leave the premises. Lost and found items will be retained for a short time. Items not claimed after one month will be donated to a charitable organization.
