Beyond Today
Our Vision
The "Beyond Today" campaign
is based on the conviction that although we have seen
great blessing and growth in the last couple of years,
it is just the beginning. Current statistics state that
Ellis County is experiencing record growth. In fact, recent
studies say that the population of Ellis County will triple
over the next 25 years. These new people, along with the
many others who are already living here, will need a church.
The Oaks Fellowship is committed to making room for everyone
who needs a church home. When we listen to, and
obey, the Holy Spirit, we can expect to reach thousands
of people with the good news of Christ and welcome them
into our church family.
Our current facility is not conducive to the kind of growth that is expected. A bigger auditorium must be built to make room for new families.
The Lord has also commissioned The Oaks, as His Church, to focus our energy and resources to reach the lost people of this world. He has not only called us to reach the people of Ellis County, but to be involved in a global effort to reach all people. For this reason, the elders of The Oaks have committed 10% of all “Beyond Today” giving to The Oaks Fellowship Missions efforts around the world.
